Right Age To Start Kids Schooling

Right Age To Start Kids Schooling

All parents want their children to get the best education and make their place in society, but what should be the right age to send children to school? No concrete planning or counselling sessions are focused on.

Without checking the mental level of the children, they are sometimes recruited in school at a young age or at an older age, which is not a correct practice at all, because in both cases, the children are the losers.

A child's mental level and other abilities are completely different from another, his growth and development speed is different, so why should a law force them to enter school at a certain age???

According to experts, the pressure on children due to their young age sometimes makes them weak in the field of study throughout their lives, while in the case of being older, the child wastes his precious time. When children reach a certain age, In any case, the attitude of the government or the parents to enroll them in school is not correct, but they should be given the opportunity to develop according to the natural process of learning, in which the habit of observation and questioning helps them.

Focus on your child. Discuss with them, ask questions about their surroundings according to their age. If the child answers your questions satisfactorily. The child learns how to explain his point. So understand that he is ready for school.

The process of learning is a constant struggle, it is not completed by entering or leaving a school. Home is the first educational institution of any child, so it is important that instead of forcing children to go to school at a certain age, parents should instruct them at home in such a way that children not only go to school happily. Rather, they can take care of themselves there.

  • School hesitancy of children and its solution
Education and tutelage of children is the primary responsibility of parents. Therefore, parents should be aware of the physical and mental changes occurring in their child so that the child does not think of himself alone and find the solution to his problems together with the parents. A friendly attitude of parents creates self-confidence in the child's personality.

When the child enters school, his daily routine changes a lot, like getting up early in the morning and going to school, getting ready for studies. etc. The sudden transition from old to new is sometimes a source of anxiety and confusion for children, for which parents must prepare them mentally.

At first, children shy away from school and show reluctance. The fear of being away from the mother confuses the young mind, at such a time it desperately needs the help and support of the parents.

Instead of scolding him and sending him to school, he should be explained with love. Love and compassion for the child in its place, but under any compulsion or necessity, it should be induced to stay away from the parents in an invisible way. Tell him positive things about school that can help ease his first-day fears. Tell him that he will have a good time at school. You will meet new friends. There will be swings like Playland. There will be new and colorful books. A school bag with a picture of his favorite cartoon character will also be given to him.

A reward for his good behavior on his way back from school would be to take him to his favorite place. Thanks to this psychological counselling, the child will get familiar with the school and feel confident in the classroom environment. The best time to teach children to read and write is when they are young because this is when they are developing positive attitudes and basic skills.

Parents should read to children and talk about their ideas, even if those ideas are not immediately understood. Whatever language the child feels comfortable in should be used. Talk to the child about common day-to-day problems and their solutions.

Make sure the child has time to think, sometimes it takes time to think about what to say next, be prepared to wait for what your child has to say. Ask questions that lead the child to talk about their thoughts. While studying with the child, ask questions like, "Why did this happen?", "What can happen next?" These questions act as an electric current in the child's mind.

  • Hobbies for kids
Do not force the child to be lost in books all the time, because to show the best performance in studies, it is not necessary for children to read 24 hours a day, but at the same time, good food and mental and physical activities are also necessary. It is better that children have hobbies. Instead of keeping away from it, provide an environment in which children can participate in other activities apart from studies.

However, according to psychologists, human personality is being built from birth to 18 years of age. Therefore, the environment around children, along with their education and training, daily activities also play an important role in building personality.

  • Let the children do what they like
Most of the parents want that if their child is intelligent and wise, he should become a doctor or an engineer, but not every child is born to become a doctor or an engineer. Don't always scold children because of numbers and grades. Pay attention to what the child is being taught in school and to what extent the child is able to understand and learn it.

Sometimes children's hobbies also help in their choice of "career", for example, children who are interested in sports may become athletes or those who are fond of cooking may become chefs. Likewise, children who draw. Like to go into a field related to art. It's also possible for kids who love travelling.

While children who collect currency notes or coins of different countries choose banking or finance fields. However, it has been seen that those who like gardening, pursue a career in botany or any field related to agriculture.

It is not necessary that the child should be given education only to earn employment. Rather, make the child understand that the purpose of education is to shape his personality and develop his skills. So that he goes to school with a healthy and positive mindset and does not consider school as a burden or force.
